The service that I deliver on your special day would match exactly the requirements that you specify; the amount of the day to be recorded and any special recording requirements you might have. The video will be digitally edited in detail and you have full choice of any background music that is used as well as whether to have special effects such as slow-motion, black and white or music sequences; where and when the coverage starts and ends are all yours to specify. I am based very centrally in Rugby, Warwickshire and as I only take one booking for any one day I have the flexibility to offer coverage of your special day at any location in the UK. Though cost is an obvious consideration do not believe that price alone will give you any guide to the quality of the video, you should see authentic examples in order to decide if the video you choose will be of value for you. If your date is available I will be happy to send you a VHS or DVD for your appraisal. Feel free to call for an informal chat about my approach to wedding video. There are many things to consider before entrusting the capture of your special day to any videographer and you should be certain that the person you discuss your plans with will be the videographer on the day, not someone hired in to do the recording. recognise how special your wedding day is.
My aim is to capture and reflect the atmosphere and excitement without
intruding on the natural flow of the day. To
this end I record as an observer not a ‘director’.
I use only top quality equipment with back-ups for every item including
cameras. I have recorded
wedding videos since 1985 in chapels,
churches, cathedrals and civic venues in many parts of this country and abroad. This is just a brief outline of the service that I offer. Click here for further details. If you decide to book with "Q" Video you need not be concerned that you might end up with a video you are not happy with. When the video is edited you will receive a VHS tape (usually 2 weeks after your wedding), you can view this any number of times during the following week. If you find any content that will embarrass or offend it may be possible removed it before the video is finalised as a digital master - for example someone says something you wish they hadn't or an old flame turns up at the church, with so much coverage something may be overlooked during editing. Once you have confirmed that you are happy the final digital master and DVD will be made.
